Values, Attitudes and TEACHERS

I noticed that most of my post in FS blog were written when I was  on my extreme emotions. This one is an entry last February 2009.

Values can be taught. Attitudes are not, though we can do something about it. We often hear people say, “ay may attitude sya”. More ofen than not, it connotes something negative. If values can be taught, and attitudes are not, then it is simply clear that one must have the winning attitude to be a TEACHER, more so to be a teacher’s teacher.  We can never teach what we never have…so cliche’. However, we can preach what  we want others to have simply because we cant show them by example.  I am a newbie in the profession, but i think it is not enough reason for me to be regarded as if I know nothing, especially by my supposedly mentor in this vocation.  I dont know what its means now by respect. It seems like my old orientation of 'what respect is' is wrecked by just only one case where I was dragged into.  Respect is given not asked or begged. It was earned through times(Like trust)… and once it is broken, it will  can be the same again. Never! Like an old adage says, the scar will remain. I will never forget what had happen. The hurt feeling will eventually heal but when I look back maybe there will be a lil crack in the image that was perfectly created in my thought. I just want to put it this way: THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU SHOUT OUT. We too, are trying to be the best. We tried  to make everybody believe that we are PROFESSIONALS. TEACHERS with attitude…I’m on my positive note now. TEACHERS have VALUE, without attitude.

This one is a continuation of this post, February, 2009
Sorry seems to be the hardest word, it really is!…but it’s sweeter to hear someone from who says sorry that he/she accepted that his/her fault. Sorry can do magic.  It can heal even the most painful wound if it is sincerely said.  Hope the apology that we heard was true enough to her…
yes, she’s a human. so, we are too…and i think we deserve the apology. There’s no bitterness in my heart now. That was over. Thanks God, he made ways.
